The Florida Flywheelers Antique Engine Club will host a lawnmower racing event to celebrate the New Year. Racing will take place on dirt tracks, with speeds ranging from 25 to 70 MPH. Food trucks will be available for attendees.
Registration will occur from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by tech inspection from 1 pm to 2 pm. Practice sessions are scheduled from 2 pm to 4 pm, with a driver’s meeting at 5 pm. Gates for spectators will open at noon, and heat races will begin at 6 pm, with features following an intermission.
Racers will have designated pit parking, while family and friends not participating in the races should use the general parking area. Dry camping is available in the pits, and pets are allowed on leashes. Registration and entry fees include $25 for drivers in unlimited classes, $12 for general admission, and $20 for pit entry. Children aged 5 and under enter free for general admission or $7 for pit entry.
Practice sessions will also be held on Friday night under the lights. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for payments.
