Lighthouse Church Fall Fest

The Lighthouse Church hosts Fall Fest, a free community trunk-or-treat event, from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31 at 501 W Brazos in West Columbia. Children can collect candy from decorated trunks and enter a costume contest for ages 0-11, with prizes awarded. The afternoon includes hot dogs, chips, drinks, snowcones, popcorn and door prizes, plus a vendor selling lemonade and another selling funnel cake. Activities include a mechanical bull, petting zoo, bounce house, puppets and singing. A PHI Life Flight helicopter is scheduled to land for children to see, and first responders and their vehicles will attend. An antique car show is planned for the dads in attendance. Overflow parking is available at The Christian Center and Klassy Kids Lighthouse.
