The second annual Long Island Cool Cars for Kids Car Show takes place Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026, at 1111 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park, N.Y. The event is a fundraiser benefiting the Division of Medical Genetics and Genomics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, part of Northwell Health.
All vehicle classes are welcome to register for display, including hypercars, exotics, sports cars, muscle cars, luxury vehicles, classics, antiques, trucks, hot rods and more. The first 500 registered vehicles receive priority entrance. Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 7; day-of registration requires a $20 donation. A donation of any amount is requested for advance online registration. Spectators are admitted free.
In addition to the show field, the event features food trucks, ice cream, cold beverages, live music, awards, raffles, giveaways, vendor and sponsor booths, an emergency vehicle display, a kids’ fun zone and an RC car race track. The rain date is Aug. 16.
Last year’s event drew more than 500 show cars and raised over $30,000 for children’s genetic research and care. To register a vehicle, volunteer or inquire about sponsorship, visit www.coolcarsforkids.org/ccfkcarshow.
