About This Event
The Macedonia Volunteer Fire Department hosts its 2nd Annual Car Show & Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Petal, Mississippi. Open to cars, trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, and ATVs, the event benefits the local volunteer fire department. Gates open for spectators at 10:00 AM and run until 2:00 PM with free spectator admission.
Show vehicle entry is $25, with setup starting at 9:00 AM and final vehicle arrivals by 11:00 AM prior to judging. Pre-registration begins September 28, offering participants discounted event T-shirts and a commemorative car show sticker. Multiple vehicle award categories will be presented during the show.
Because the event falls on Halloween, trunk-or-treating is welcomed and encouraged for kids and families. Attendees can also participate in the crowd-judged Chili Cook-Off by purchasing a $10 tasting armband for unlimited chili samples. On-site concessions and event T-shirts will be available throughout the day.
