Maverick Stadium at Goodyear High School hosts a kickoff festival car show Friday, Aug. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. All makes and models are welcome to this event presented by Reliable and Simply Subies garage. The show features trophies, music, vendors, food and drinks. The stadium is located at 17300 W. Van Buren St.
