The Mid County Cruisers will host the Chicken Run Fun Cruise on February 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM in Nederland. The route starts at NHS and proceeds on 18th Street to Helena Avenue. It follows a path through 21st Street, Detroit, North 27th Street, West Chicago Avenue, Gary Avenue, West Boston Avenue, Helena Avenue, North 17th Street, Boston Avenue, North 5th Street, South 5th Street, Avenue D, Texas Avenue, Carriage Lane, and ends back on Texas Avenue. Participants will ride the right shoulder on the south side of Helena Avenue to avoid traffic and to facilitate catching beads and candy. Spectators are encouraged to watch along Boston Avenue, the south side of Helena Avenue, and Avenue D.
