The Mitchell County Blacktop Cruisers will host their 24th annual car show Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Mitchell County Fairgrounds in Osage, Iowa. Registration runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with participant voting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and awards at 2:00 p.m.
The show features two divisions: Division I for 1900-1979 vehicles with 83 trophies, and Division II for 1980-present vehicles. Thirteen special awards will be presented, including Best of Show Stock and Modified for both divisions, Mayor’s Choice, Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best GM, Mike Shoar’s Memorial, Stan Morse Memorial and Autumn Artistry Choice.
Registration costs $20, and dash plaques will be given to the first 175 cars. The event is free to the public and will be held rain or shine during the Osage Autumn Artistry Celebration, which includes food booths, a craft show and family activities.
