Mizfitz for Military

Mizfitz of the Upstate hosts the Mizfitz for Military car show in partnership with Harley-Davidson of Greenville’s Military Appreciation Day. Proceeds go to Marine Corps veteran Benjamin Smith, who was honorably discharged after seven years of service. Smith is a single father of three teenage boys whose 20-year-old vehicle needs significant repairs; he drives 30 miles each way to work and plans to use show funds to make the vehicle last as long as possible.

Vehicle registration is $20. Spectators attend free. Judging covers nine classes with Top 5 awards in each, a Top 3 Most Unique class and six specialty awards: Veteran Choice, Upstate Warrior Solution Choice, Best Lady Driven, Best of Show, Most Patriotic and Harley-Davidson Choice. More than 50 awards are planned.

The show runs from noon to 4 p.m. at 30 Chrome Dr. in Greenville, South Carolina. A 50/50 raffle and a silent auction with items donated by businesses and individuals round out the day. Participants can pre-register on Eventbrite.
