Monroe County Moose Lodge Toy Run

The Monroe County Moose Lodge Toy Run raises money and toys to help make Christmas merrier for children in Monroe County, with proceeds benefiting the Monroe County C.A.R.E. Cottage. The 25th anniversary ride starts at the Monroe County Moose Lodge 2424 at 524 Cabiness Rd in Forsyth.

Registration opens at 10 a.m., and the toy run begins at 12 p.m. Participants pay $20 per person. Motorcycles, cars and Jeeps are welcome, and riders and drivers follow two separate routes, one for motorcycles and cars and one for Jeeps. A parade around the square is part of the 25th anniversary run.

A BBQ lunch is provided after the ride, with a DJ providing music. Raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing and a silent auction round out the day. The event is not sponsored by or associated with any organized motorcycle club, and the organizer is not responsible for loss or injury. Donations and preregistration are available through Venmo at @MonroeCoToyRun, and sponsors are sought.
