The Mounds View Festival in the Park hosts its 20th annual car show on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at City Hall Park Softball Field. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with awards presented at 2 p.m.
All years, makes and models of show cars and trucks are welcome. Entry costs $10 per vehicle, with pre-registration recommended. The first 100 registered entrants receive free dash plaques. Car show entrants must use the Long Lake Road entrance on Bronson Drive and exit by 3:30 p.m.
The festival features food trucks, craft vendors, live music from 1 to 9:40 p.m., a beer garden, bingo, fireworks, kids games, a petting zoo and a splash pad. DJ Chuck Anthony and Tunes to Go provide tunes and trivia throughout the day. The event proceeds rain or shine.
Vendor spots are available for $65 with advance registration required. The event accepts food and cash donations for the Ralph E. Reeder Community Food Shelf and toy donations for Cops for Tots.
