The Mountain Thunder Car Show takes place on September 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the McDowell Tech Universal Building, 634 College Drive, Marion, NC 28752. Entry fee is $20. All proceeds benefit local charities.
This open show welcomes all vehicles. Cars for judging must be on premises by 11:00 a.m., with entry beginning at 8:30 a.m. Activities include trophies, music, food, door prizes, raffle items, a 50/50 drawing, vendors, and an adopt-a-pet opportunity.
