Mustang Week Charlotte will host a track day at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Thursday, August 27, presented by Shelby. The event, operated by Wheelhouse Racing School, gives Mustang owners the opportunity to drive their vehicles on the facility’s road course and superspeedway.
Participants can choose from high-performance driving experiences tailored to their skill level. The high-performance driver education program offers sessions for novice, intermediate and advanced drivers. Alternatively, drivers can select the Track Experience option, which features parade laps on both the superspeedway and the road course, along with the option to ride along with professional drivers in Dark Horse Mustangs.
The event provides attendees a chance to experience Charlotte Motor Speedway from either behind the wheel or as a passenger during Mustang Week. Organizers note that spots are limited and prospective participants should register during the Mustang Week registration process to secure their place.
