The Mustang Week Texas Drag Day is set for April 16, 2026, at Houston Motorsports Park. The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with gates opening at 11:00 a.m.
This drag racing day, presented by Tremec, will feature activities such as Drag Racing, Test and Tune, True Street, Oval Track, Spectator Drags, and Drifting/Ride-Alongs. The True Street class includes a 30-mile cruise followed by three back-to-back passes, along with a Spectator Drags event offering a chance to win pizza and beer.
Participants can experience drifting with professional drivers, including Vaughn Gittin Jr., Ben Hobson, Chris Leonard, Diego Sandoval, and Morgan Oldham around the HMP oval.
