The Military Veterans Outreach Camp hosts its America 250 Celebration on July 2 and 3 at 2740 Freeport Road in North East, PA. The two-day event benefits veterans, first responders and their families.
Thursday’s schedule includes music and veteran presentations by Dee Corvana starting at 2:00 PM. The car show opens at 4:00 PM with classic rock and blues by Stygian Does. A veteran presentation follows at 4:30 PM. Matty B & The Dirty Pickles perform 50s, 60s and rockabilly music at 5:00 PM. Car show awards are presented at 7:00 PM, followed by The Carnival Brothers yacht club music at 7:30 PM.
Friday features bike show registration from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Seeking Susan performs at 2:30 PM. Parade registration takes place at HC Moose Club until 5:45 PM at 4:30 PM. Wicked Goose variety dance music begins at 5:00 PM. The bike parade starts at 6:00 PM, with bike night following. A veteran presentation featuring American Flag Sky Divers is scheduled for 6:45 PM. The bike show opens at 7:00 PM. Hot Mess performs pop and rock at 8:00 PM. Fireworks close the event at 10:00 PM.
