MVP Sports Bar hosts a competitive cornhole tournament Aug. 15 in Sycamore. The competitive tournament costs $60 per team, with check-in at 10 a.m. and bags flying at 11 a.m. Teams play six games of rounds (Swiss/Holo) into double elimination brackets. One pro per team is allowed, with all teams containing a pro competing in Tier 1. A social tournament costs $30 per team, with check-in at 11 a.m. and bags flying at noon. The event takes place at 124 S. California St.
