The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction hosts its third annual Candy & Cars trunk or treat event Thursday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 2020 Yonkers Road in Raleigh.
The event features creatively decorated vehicles, free candy, food trucks, a DJ playing family-friendly music, and face painting. Children can follow a designated path to visit decorated trunks filled with candy and surprises in a safe, organized environment.
The event includes a food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support individuals and families in need.
Costumes are encouraged but should be appropriate for a family-friendly event. Admission is free.
