The NHRA Index Wally Shootout takes place Friday, August 21, at Border Parts. Gates open at 5 p.m., with time trials at 6 p.m. and first round at 8 p.m.
Two classes compete: 5.80 Tree – .400 (door vehicles) pays $1,200 to win plus a Wally (8-car minimum), and 7.0 Tree – .500 (door vehicles) pays $2,000 to win plus a Wally (14-car minimum). First-round buy-backs are $50. Chip draw is at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
Tech card is $50. Test and tune runs all day. Slicks or drag radials are permitted. Spectator and crew admission is $20; kids 12 and under are free. Spectator parking is free. Limited VIP pit parking is $20.
