Northside Assembly Of God Hallelujah Fest Car Show & Cook-Off

Northside Assembly of God hosts the Hallelujah Fest Car Show & Cook-Off, a family community day combining a vehicle show with a black pot cook-off. Car show registration is $30 for cars, trucks and motorcycles. Awards include trophies, Popular Vote, Judges Favorite and class recognition for antique/classic cars, domestic best, exotic and muscle/performance vehicles.

Cook-off teams pay $30 to enter their best black pot recipe and must provide enough to feed at least 50 people. Categories include jambalaya, gumbo, chili, dessert, entree and seafood. Food tasting armbands cost $10 for sample sizes, and concessions are available throughout the day. The event also features live music, candy and activities for children.

Spectators attend by donation, and children 10 and under get in free. Proceeds support local outreach, youth and men’s ministries. Preregistration for the car show and cook-off is available by email or in person with Matt Green. Vendor, sponsor and participant registrations are also open. The show runs in the east lot at 809 E. Northern Ave. in Crowley, Louisiana.
