It’s the first weekend in March, so don’t get left behind. Yes! It’s time to “Spring Forward”. Springing forward gives us more daylight in the evenings which makes it possible for the Oakboro Cruise-in to start up for the 2026 season! Our first Cruise-in of the season will be March 27th, which is the 4th Friday of the month, which is the Friday we ALWAYS have the Cruise-in. We do not charge fees or registration for anyone wishing to attend with a vehicle to display. There is no admission whatsoever, so please don’t fall for the scammer BS that often gets posted here. Feel free to label it as a scam with a comment. Parking is first come, first serve. Please do not save spots for others. A lot of people travel a long way to get here only to see spots blocked with chairs, creative parking displays, etc. Be considerate. Only food vendors are allowed to vend and they need to set up on 3rd Street, across from the Post Office, beside Oakboro Furniture. Permits to vend are available at Oakboro Town Hall. We are looking forward to another great year at the oldest, biggest and best Cruise-in anywhere in the Southeast, so make plans now to visit us the 4th Friday of each month, March through October, in Oakboro NC at the Oakboro Cruise-in!
