The Okawville Wheat Festival Car Show takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at 400 S. Hanover St. in Okawville. Registration runs from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $20 day-of or $15 with pre-registration by Sept. 1. Judging begins at 12:30 p.m., with awards presented at 2:30 p.m.
Dash plaques go to the first 60 entrants. Awards include Best in Show classes for each decade from the 1920s through present, plus Best All-Around, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine, Top 35 and five other top awards. Attendance prizes and a 50/50 drawing are also offered.
Cars park on the lot south of the high school. Soda and water are available for purchase at the show, with food available in the park across the street. The car show is part of the 78th annual Wheat Festival, which runs Sept. 18-20 and features nightly live music, carnival rides, fair food, homemade ice cream and beer and soda stands.
