The Orange County Transportation Festival is set for August 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Parties, Port Jervis, New York. Visitors can explore on-site exhibits, including a theater/gift shop boxcar, museum boxcar, Chessie System and Conrail cabooses, and a dining car. Demonstrations of historic locomotives and the turntable will be featured.
Food offerings include burgers, hot dogs, and classic railroad recipes. Kids can enjoy a scavenger hunt by visiting various pieces of equipment to learn fun facts. Attendees are encouraged to use Metro-North’s/NJ Transit’s commuter rail to the Port Jervis station, conveniently located 650 feet from the event.
