The PAN Towners 50th Car Show and Swap Meet takes place annually on the third Sunday in August at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. The event runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features pre-war, classic, and Class A collector cars, as well as a used car corral, craft and vendor sales, and a model car contest held in the ice arena.
Participants have the chance to compete in valve cover races and enter 36 classes of cars and trucks up to 1995, including a laid-back class up to 2005. Dash plaques and goodie bags are provided to the first 500 entries. A Saturday night fun run starts at 6 p.m. the evening before the show.
Pre-entry costs $10, with gate entries at $15. Spectator admission is $8, and children 15 and under are admitted free with a paid adult. Cash prize drawings totaling $4,850 are held throughout the event, requiring winners to be present. Credit and debit cards are accepted at all gates.
Food vendors and an ATM are available on site. Restrictions include no pets, bikes, motorized vehicles, guns, or rollerblades. The event is managed by MCSI. More information and registration forms can be found at pantowners.org.
