A benefit event will be held to support two cancer victims. The day will begin with a Poker Run, with registration from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the run starting at 10:30 a.m., returning around noon. Car show registration will take place from noon to 2 p.m., followed by judging at 3 p.m. and awards at 4 p.m., with 74 trophies to be awarded.
Pre-registration costs $20 and includes a dash plaque, car show entry, and one track drive. Grudge matches are $20, and additional track drives cost $10. A burnout competition will also be featured. Vendors may participate for $25, excluding food and drink sales.
The event will include live music by the band The Legends, balloon art by Jimmy Wathen, and face painting by Julie Durbin and Ryleigh Hamby, who will donate their time. A 50/50 raffle and silent auction will be held, and bounce houses will be available for children.
A power wheel race for children will conclude the event, with a $10 entry fee. Windy Hollow will provide concessions with food and drinks available for purchase.
