The Patriot Day Celebration & Car Show takes place Sept. 10-12, 2026, at University Park, 320 N. 25th St., Grand Forks, N.D. The three-day community event honors victims, survivors, first responders, military personnel and families affected by the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and coincides with America’s 250th birthday.
The event features a classic and custom car show, live music, food trucks, local vendors and family activities. Community organizations will also have a presence throughout the weekend.
All proceeds benefit Journey Home Animal Rescue, the Grand Forks Children’s Museum and a Grand Forks program serving homeless veterans. Sponsorship packages are available ranging from $250 to $5,000. The event is organized by Rachel Rakoczy, founder of Rachel’s Property Solutions, established in 2017.
