The Pelion Band Program, Pelion Band Booster Club, and Michelle Gantt host an open car, truck, motorcycle, and tractor show. The event features live music, fun and fellowship, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks for sale, and prizes and drawings throughout the show. Registration runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a military salute at 12 p.m. Judging occurs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and awards are presented at 1:15 p.m. Awards include Best-of-Show trophy, People’s Choice trophy, Photographer’s Choice trophy, Best Motorcycle trophy, Best Import trophy, Best Jeep trophy, Best Truck trophy, and Best Tractor trophy. The top 25 overall vehicles receive a trophy. A 50/50 raffle is held. Registration fee on site is $25. Gift bags and dash plaques are given to the first 75 entrants. No pre-registration is available.
