Performance Transmission hosts a back-to-school car show Aug. 8 from noon to 5 p.m. at 1182 Dix Highway in Lincoln Park. The event collects school supplies for neighborhood students. Attendees can enjoy free hot dogs and drinks, ride a mechanical bull, and visit bouncy trampolines. Local vendors will be on site. School supply donations are welcome.
