Phillips, Nebraska, hosts its Independence Day Kick Off on July 3, featuring a car show, tractor pull, and family activities starting at 6 p.m. and running until 9:30 p.m. The event includes root beer floats, a cakewalk, kids games, and a dunk booth. The Phillips Fire Department will conduct water fights throughout the evening. Food will be served from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with fireworks at dusk.
