The Plainview Fire Department hosts its first annual car and truck show. The event runs from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and features a trophy show with awards for the best show car. Entry fee is $20 per car. The event is supported by the Centurion Cruisers and Long Island Corvette Owners Association, Inc. Hotdogs and hamburgers are served. All donations benefit the NYC Fire Dept. Burn Unit.
