The Pontiac Transportation Museum presents the 100th anniversary celebration of Pontiac Motor Division with a classic Pontiac parade of cars on June 26 and a show day on June 27.
The parade takes place Friday, June 26, with event kickoff at 6:00 p.m. and parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. The route runs along Oakland Avenue and Saginaw Street in downtown Pontiac. Parade starts at OLDCAR Building, 196 Cesar Chavez Ave., and ends at Pike Street. The original Pontiac Motor Division Building is located at 196 Cesar Chavez Ave.
The parade features over 200 classic, rare, and vintage Pontiac cars, trucks, and motorcycles. A downtown after-party follows the parade. Celebrity Grand Marshal Cristi Lee will lead the event. Presented by Pontiac: The Heart of Oakland County.
Show day takes place Saturday, June 27, at Oakland Expo Center, 2122 Mall Drive East in Waterford, MI 48328. The event is open to the public. Award-winning classic Pontiac cars and the Oakland Club International Cars & Trucks will be on display.
