RACEWARS San Diego

RACEWARS returns to North County San Diego on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Barona 1/8 Mile Drags in Lakeside. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Drag racing classes include Unlimited Test N Tune (no payout), Index 6.0, Index 6.5, Index 7.0, Index 7.5, Index 8.0, Index 8.5, and Index 9.0. Entry is $75 per class with a 75/25 payout from the pot. Index entry includes a test and tune pass.

Car show classes include Import Street 1-3, Import Mild 1-3, Import Wild 1-3, Domestic Street 1-3, Domestic Mild 1-3, and Domestic Wild 1-3. Best of make/model awards include Acura, Audi, BMW/Mini, Cadillac, Chevy/GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Fiat, Ford, Jeep, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Infiniti, Mazda, Exotic, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Pontiac, Subaru, Electric, Toyota/Scion, and VW.

Special awards include Best In Car Entertainment, Best Wheel & Tire Setup, Best Use of Carbon Fiber, Hottest Female Driven, Best On Air, Best Static, Best Graphics, Sick Paint, Best Engine Bay, Best VIP, KING of 2 Step Award, Quality Team, Biggest Team, and Best of Show.
