The Rats Nest Run In 2025 Hot Rod Festival and Swap Meet is set to take place from August 14th to 17th in Durham, New York. This four-day event will feature live bands starting Thursday night at the welcome party. Enthusiasts attending on Thursday will receive a special Hard Core T-shirt.
The expanded venue will include more room on the main show field, the pond area, and the upper parking lot to accommodate hundreds of vendors and swap meet sellers. The festival welcomes pre-1965 cars and trucks, with special parking for 1966-1972 models. Over 5,000 Rat Rod enthusiasts are expected to gather for the event.
Attendees can participate in various contests such as the Pin-Up Contest, Model Car Contest, Beard Contest, Burnout Competition, and Beer Belly Contest. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners of these events.
