Rats on the Platte returns to Mitchell, Nebraska, for a two-day celebration of rat rods and kustoms. The event kicks off Friday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. with dirt track racing featuring the Mistresses of Mayhem. Saturday’s activities run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include burnouts and a car show.
