The Rick Wiemann Memorial Run returns Saturday, July 25, with registration starting at 10 a.m. at Verona City Park. The run begins at 11 a.m. from Verona’s Dry Hollow Saloon & Grille, traveling through Fort Ransom, Lisbon and Stirum before returning to Verona around 3 p.m.
A car show follows with registration starting at 3 p.m. and prizes awarded at 6:15 p.m. A burnout contest begins at 6:30 p.m. Fargo band Three57 performs from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Activities include pie auctions every hour starting at 2 p.m., raffles, prizes, face painting, goldfish races, games and contests. Rollin Smokehouse serves food starting at noon. Pulled pork sandwiches are available along the route. A food truck operates in Verona.
