Beaches Museum hosts its annual Riding the Rails: Pablo Beach Train Day on September 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Pablo Historical Park in Jacksonville Beach. The event celebrates all things train with three operating model train layouts, a Cars Through Decades car show, and a train robber suspect search. A trackless train will offer rides through the neighborhood.
Children can create train-themed souvenirs at the Make It and Take It craft station and enjoy train-themed games. The museum’s 1911 steam locomotive, the 1900 Florida East Coast Foreman’s House, and the Mayport Depot will be open to the public with volunteers available to answer questions.
Boy Scout Troop #37 will sell beverages and lunch items including hamburgers and hot dogs. Admission is free for children and $5 for non-member adults. Registration is required.
