Rocket City Dragway will host Midnight Madness, featuring a car meet with fun runs and burn-outs. The event will charge $20 per car load and $10 for racing. A free learn-to-race session is scheduled for 8:30 PM, followed by a drivers meeting at 9:15 PM. No real race cars will be allowed after 9:30 PM. Street cars must have mufflers, and shotgun exhausts are prohibited. A cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the fastest driver under age 25.
