About This Event
Route 66 State Park marks the highway’s centennial with a free celebration that includes a car show, live music, hayrides, food trucks, vendors, art projects, guided hikes and museum tours. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Classic car owners can register their vehicles for the show online through the signup QR code or by calling 636-938-7198. Live music and the car show run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed at 3:30 p.m. by a classic car cruise around the park and down historic U.S. Route 66.
The park also offers a selfie station, shopping and interpretive stations. Route 66 was first recognized as part of the new U.S. Highway System on Nov. 11, 1926, and the centennial celebration honors that milestone. Missouri State Parks hosts the event at Route 66 State Park in Eureka.
