The Russell Police Association presents its 8th Annual Family Fun Day and Car Show on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Strathmore Park in Russell, MA. Admission is free.
The event features prizes for best vehicle in numerous categories. Activities include live music with DJ Gary of Gary & the Cruisers, a bounce house, water slide, reverse dunk tank, K9 demonstration, face painting, balloon artist, and children’s games. Free popcorn and ice cream will be available. Special attractions include a helicopter visit and Boomer, mascot of the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Attendees can meet representatives from public safety agencies throughout the region. The event typically draws over 1,000 attendees and features nearly 100 vehicles on display. For more information, contact [email protected].
