About This Event
The Safford Airshow brings aerobatic performances, flyovers and static aircraft displays to Safford Regional Airport in Safford, Arizona. Gates open at 9 a.m., and the show runs until 3 p.m.
Jerry Conley is scheduled to fly the Vampire Airshows DH-115 jet. The lineup also includes the Rutledge Airborne Fire Tanker water drop, Doug Grant’s Jet Car, a Skydive Aerial Extreme parachute demonstration, Microjet Airshows, Anthony Oshinuga in Pitts S-1 aerobatics and Dan Kirtland in T-28 Trojan aerobatics. Several warbird formation flights are planned, and ground displays feature vintage and modern aircraft.
Spectators can meet pilots and view aircraft up close. Schultz Airshows provides Airboss, ground operations, announcing and airshow coordination services for the event. Additional performers and static displays are expected to be added as the show approaches.
