Savory Dave’s 2nd Annual All Women Rib Cookoff

Savory Dave’s hosts its 2nd Annual All Women Rib Cookoff on October 10, 2026, in Sacramento. The Boots & Bling-themed event features an all-women BBQ competition with prizes for best ribs, people’s choice, best presentation, and best boots and bling attire. Adult cook-off winners receive $500 for first place, $300 for second, and $200 for third. Girls’ competitions are divided into ages 8-11 and 12-16, with prizes of $250, $175, and $100 for first through third place. The event includes a classic car show featuring vehicles from local car clubs, a kids cooking competition zone, and live entertainment by Aaron Le. A vendor marketplace offers products from local businesses, artisans, and food vendors. Attendees can enjoy BBQ, soul food, desserts, and beverages throughout the day.
