The Schuyler Car & Corn Extravaganza Car Show takes place August 9 at 282 Wood Lane in Schuyler, NY, from 3 p.m. to dusk. Hosted by DJ Jack Clark, the event welcomes all cars with a $10 minimum donation. All proceeds go to charity.
Registration opens upon arrival. Trophies will be awarded for Best in Show (with a $100 cash prize), People’s Choice (with a $50 cash prize), peer-judged top 30, best paint, and loudest exhaust. The first 100 cars receive dash plaques, and all registered cars get free giveaways. Door prizes and a 50/50 raffle will be held.
Activities include live music from Gridley Paige, hot air balloon rides, a helicopter landing, food trucks, vendors, child safe IDs, bounce houses, and fireworks at dusk.
