The Seymour Old Settlers Car Show is scheduled for July 11, 2026, in Centerville, Iowa. The event runs rain or shine and features door prizes, entertainment, an antique tractor show, a parade, food stands, vendors, and inflatables by Creative Chaos.
Vehicle registrations are due by 11:00 AM. Door prizes will be announced at the entry table at noon, and awards will be presented at 2:00 PM at the registration tent. All vehicles will be classed at the show entrance. Originals must have original paint, interior, and engine with no chrome on the engine; mags or aftermarket wheels are allowed.
Vehicle classes include originals from 1900 through 1990 and up, street rods, street machines, Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds, Corvettes, convertibles, Tri-Fives, late-model Chevys, 1980s-to-1990s muscle cars, pickups, 4×4 pickups, custom/special, visibly unfinished, motorcycles, rat rods, Mopars, and survivor/unrestored vehicles. Special awards include Best of Show, Interior, Paint, Engine, and Wheels.
Valve cover races return this year, with youth, mens, and womans classes. Cars must weigh under 8 pounds, must consist of actual valve covers, and are limited to two cars per person. Anonymous judging will also be used this year.
Pre-registration is $17 and must be received by July 8. Pre-registration forms and fees should be sent to Erica Matkovich, 1628 S 20th St, Centerville, IA 52544, with checks made payable to Old Settlers Car Show. Entry fee on the day of the show is $25. A free shirt is included with registration. Pre-registration is also available at Sapphire Repair Center at 1628 S 20th Street. Proceeds go back to the Seymour community.
