The Traer Chamber of Commerce will host the annual SHINE & SHOW Car Show on August 9, 2025, in downtown Traer, Iowa. Registration runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by judging at 12:30 p.m. and awards at 1:30 p.m. Entry costs $15, with a dash magnet provided to the first 100 entries. Trophies will be awarded to the Top 25 Best in Show and others. T-shirts and 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
The event takes place during the Winding Stairs Festival, with several local dining and shopping options available, as well as area attractions like the Traer Salt & Pepper Shaker Gallery and the historic Winding Stairs.
