Slash X Scare Bash

Slash X Scare Bash takes place at Slash X Ranch Cafe in Barstow, California, on October 16–17, 2026. The Halloween-themed off-road weekend kicks off Friday with afternoon trail rides and the evening Slash X Scare Poker Run through the desert, featuring a spooky atmosphere and a costume contest. Saturday continues with an action-packed schedule of guided trail wheeling across routes tailored for all skill levels, ranging from scenic family-friendly runs to extreme rock-crawling trails.

MetalCloak will be on site with their CTI flex trailer, giving participants the chance to test their vehicle’s suspension travel and receive a CTI score. Saturday evening brings participants together for a BBQ dinner of ribs and chicken followed by a huge sponsor-supported raffle with thousands of dollars in prizes at the outdoor amphitheater behind the cafe. Dry camping at Slash X Ranch Cafe is free for all registered participants starting Thursday at noon.

Registration fees are $65 for CORVA lifetime members, $75 for CORVA members, and $85 for non-members, with optional couples packages and additional Saturday dinner tickets available. All proceeds directly benefit the California Off-Road Vehicle Association (CORVA) and Friends of Hungry Valley (FOHV) to help protect and maintain public trail access across California.
