Slidewayz will launch the year with a major drift weekend, featuring its final event at Kalamazoo Speedway in Kalamazoo, MI, and a full weekend of drifting at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, MI. The event begins at Kalamazoo Speedway, where gates and tech open at 12 noon and the track operates from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Afterward, participants will travel to Gingerman Raceway for two days of drifting, with separate driving groups and the opportunity to move between levels based on performance. Camping will be available at Gingerman both nights.
Gates at Gingerman open at 7 a.m. both days, with the track live from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and resuming at 12 noon until 6 p.m., in accordance with noise ordinances. DJ SLYDR and other Tri-State artists will provide music on-site Saturday and Sunday. Driver meetings will be held 20 minutes before track sessions begin. Required safety gear includes helmets, fire extinguishers, proper seat belts or harnesses, and roll bars for convertibles. Kalamazoo participants will be pre-cleared for Gingerman tech inspection.
