South Butler Dragway hosts a series of drag races for vehicles 1995 and older at 13225 Butler-Conquest Road in Savannah. The 2026 schedule includes races on June 28, July 26, August 30, and September 27, with rain dates held the following Sunday if needed.
Tech inspection begins at 7 a.m., and no race cars will be admitted after noon. Racing starts at 9:30 a.m. Registration costs $30 per drag car with driver. Pit crew and spectator admission is $10; children under 12 enter free. Vendor and swap meet spots are available for $15.
This is a no-prep track. Nitrous is prohibited. All cars must have seatbelts, and all drivers must wear helmets and carry a fire extinguisher. A radiator catch can is required. The track adheres to IHRA safety rules.
Each race includes a show and shine open to vehicles of all years. Food and drink concessions will be available. This is a cash-only event. No drugs, alcohol, or pets are allowed on the grounds.
