Southern Muscle American Car & Truck Club hosts its “Anything Goes” Black Iron Pot Cook-Off on September 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 17065 Black Mud Rd. in Livingston, Louisiana. The event features live music, a car, truck and bike show, and a cooking competition.
All-you-can-eat wristbands cost $10, with kids 12 and under eating free. Food is served at 5 p.m. Vehicle registration is $20 on-site only and includes one wristband. All makes and models are welcome.
Cooking teams register for $25, which includes one wristband per team. Teams consist of two people and must use propane burners only. All food must be cooked on-site with a three-gallon minimum and kid-friendly seasoning. Teams should bring a tent. Food is judged at 4:30 p.m.
