About This Event
The Springfield Area Highland Games & Celtic Festival returns to the Sangamon County Fairgrounds in New Berlin, Illinois, for a full day celebrating Celtic heritage, tradition, and athletics. Presented by the St. Andrew Society of Central Illinois, the annual gathering brings together competitors, performers, clans, and spectators from across the region.
Additional festivities feature children’s Highland games, Celtic food, craft vendors, and dedicated whisky tasting sessions.
The gates open at 8:00 AM and activities run through 6:00 PM. Early bird admission discounts are available online prior to the event, with free entry offered for children, military personnel, and veterans. General parking on the fairgrounds is free.
