St. John the Baptist Church hosts its 23rd Annual Cruz Night lawn fete at 2021 Sandridge Road in Alden, N.Y., sponsored by Drogi and Sons Automotive Inc.
Registration is $15 per vehicle. The first 100 registrants receive an annual dash plaque and grab bag. Vehicles competing include cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors.
Trophies are awarded in multiple categories: Best of Show, First Runner Up, Second Runner Up, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Best Tractor and the Ms. Motorhead Award — presented to the best vehicle owned by a female and sponsored by Sugaramma’s Bakeshop.
A pig roast dinner is available for $18, including salt potatoes and corn, while supplies last. Additional activities include a 50/50 raffle, a basket raffle featuring more than 100 items, kids’ games, a food tent and a beer tent. A Cow Plop Square contest offers a chance to win cash.
Live music by Bad Kitty follows the show in the beer tent.
