The Starved Rock Nationals Burnout Competition takes place August 15, 2026, at Rt66 Dirt Oval in Joliet. The competition features a 100-foot by 100-foot burnout pit with a 60-foot drop-in and is open to all registered vehicles at no extra fee beyond event registration.
Two classes compete for cash prizes. The Pro Class is open to high-horsepower, fully modified vehicles with no tire size limit. The Bro Class is limited to street-legal vehicles with a maximum 35-inch tire height. First and second place winners in both classes receive cash prizes.
The burnout competition is part of Starved Rock Nationals 2026. Registration is required to participate. More information is available at srnshow.com.
