Street Wars Car & Glow Show takes place Saturday, August 29 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at OBrien’s Irish Pub & Grill, 701 W. Lumsden Road in Brandon. Registration is $25; glow show entry is $20. All makes are welcomed.
The event features 28 classes across three categories: stock, street and custom. Classes include vehicles from 1900 to current, motorcycles, luxury, domestic, import, 4×4, mini truck, SUV, VW, hot rod, van, lowrider, special interest, import sports car, muscle car, domestic sports car, station wagon, truck, Jeep, exotic and under construction. Special awards include best engine, best stereo, best interior, best exterior, best display, best paint/wrap and biggest car club (five or more registrations required).
A 50/50 drawing, raffles, silent auction and Swamp Tour are part of the festivities. This is a series of shows with points added up at every event; the last show is the season finale. For more information, visit streetworldentertainment.com.
